Man of My Life
The Enguerrands are getting ready to spend another summer at their summer home, deep in the beautiful Provençale countryside. Frédéric and his wife, Frédérique, are accompanied by their son, cousins, Grandma, sister, brother-in-law—the whole clan.
Hugo has recently moved in next door. A solitary man, he views the world through keen and curious eyes. When Frédéric invites him to a family barbecue, Hugo is open about his homosexuality. After dinner, the two men stay up on the terrace till dawn, exchanging their radically different visions of love.
Entirely unaware of the intimacy of their exchange—and despite the seeming normality of the holiday—Frédérique nonetheless notices a distance opening up between her and her husband, and a powerful bond of love developing between Frédéric and Hugo. A bond which grows stronger daily. Turmoil takes possession of each of them, spreading confusion in every heart.
