Léon Morin, Priest

In a small French provincial town during the Occupation, Barny is a young widow who lives with her daughter France. Baptized atheist Barny attempts to seduce the town's clever young priest Léon Morin, but soon finds herself impressed with his moral strength and faces a crisis of faith.
