Outdated and Overpriced
April 03, 2019
The most expensive theater in town while also the most outdated... Auditoriums are always dirty as are the bathrooms... there was feces in one of the urinals at the start of a movie and it was still there at the end... they corral you around like they think you're trying to steal from them.. they have never been updated and are the most expensive theater in town.. I don't understand how it's even still in business...
TAKE YOUR EARPLUGS
January 19, 2019
A friend and I walked out of a movie at this theater a couple of years ago, and demanded our money back. The sound was painfully deafening. Our money was refunded along with that of ten other people with the same complaint. I decided to give it another try today, but I took along ear plugs, just in case. Good thing. While maybe not quite as loud as before, the sound would have again driven me from the theater. In both cases, I was not watching an action movie, or one where loud special effects would be expected. If a theater is showing a subdued dramatic film the sound should be lowered appropriately. I will only go to this theater as a last resort, and will always take ear plugs. Parents of small children should be especially concerned about ear damage from this level of sound.
Best “Hearing” Device

I am a pro at reading captions and I love your captioned assisted listening devices. Other theaters in town provide headphones, which may work for the mildly hearing impaired, but amplification from headphones distorts sound discrimination for the hearing aid wearer. THE LOOP SYSTEM, which transmits movie sound directly to hearing aids is the ideal solution , but is probably quite expensive. I am thankful to be able to get captions at Regal Theaters and be able to enjoy the movies with my friends.
