Needs serious remodeling and updating
July 02, 2019
The concession area, lobby, and exterior have all been repainted and recarpeted semi-regularly. But, the theater auditoriums are dingy, dirty, and dated. The seats are uncomfortable and often stick and have torn upholstery. Concessions and movie tickets are cheaper at the very nice, modern theaters in Charlottesville. We make the drive to enjoy better theaters whenever we have time, but sometimes we're stuck at Regal 14 since it's the only theater in town.
Old and outdated with new theatre prices

They used to be cutting edge 20 years ago but they haven't upgraded anything except for their prices. I would much rather go to a Zeus Theater or the Alamo. Even the Family Drive-In is it better theater. If they lower their prices it would be comprable to the experience
Smells like a week old dirty litter box.

Use to be great theater. That was about 15 years ago. Now it smells like a week old dirty, musty litter box. The seats are old, ratty and the springs gave out years ago. The service is rude, the connessions way over priced and they block you from access to the restrooms after the movie. I wouldn't even give them 1 star, if I had that option.
Good popcorn comfortable seating not crowded feeling

Drinks somewhat too large for movie and were too much ice for price. popcorn expensive for a small and snacks expensive for the one movie. Granted you must make money on the movie only if you lower your prices for the snacks you may get more people to buy them.
