Are they excited to see us?
June 10, 2021
We were so excited to be back at the theater! Staff seemed very blasé about seeing us. Kind of like "whatever." Soda choices are minimal. (no Coke products) When I asked if Dr. Pepper was coming back, the worker replied, "No, they are cheap." That seems to be the theme. Only a few of the soap dispensers in the ladies room had soap. Our theater had a persistently flickering light throughout the previews. It's like they are scrimping on everything: soda, soap, and light bulbs. It made for a sad return to the theater for us.
Ok in a pinch

Here's my deal. I am new to this area and this theatre is way below the theatre's I've visited over the past 20 years. In Arizona, the Harkins theatre is 5 stars all the way and this Regal (Edwards) is no where near those really nice theatres, even the popcorn or the pricing are not even comparable and are way higher at this theatre I actually can't believe this place stays in business and anyone that trys to tell me it's the location - doesn't know business at all.
Women's purses will be searched for "guns" but men do not have to open their coats to be inspected.

When I was asked to open my purse for inspection I said "NO". The floor manager then followed me to the food line and said I need to 1. open my purse for inspection or 2. take my purse out of the building or 3. I could request a full refund and not see the movie. I was meeting my husband who had gone to the bath room and under protest opened my purse for inspection. No gun! I proceeded to watch the movie but the purse incident ruined it for me. I'm 70 years old and and can not believe that WOMEN not men have to put up with this kind of prejudice. The manager said I would be grateful of this search if it happened like the church killings or the theater killings. WHAT?
Bring a blanket and a parka

Went to the new Star Wars movie and nearly froze. The Orient Express movie last week was the same way. Sound level was too high in the Orient Express but wasn’t too bad in Star Wars.
Great theater

Everything about this place is good, reminds me of when I was a kid in Culver City watching movies with my dad. In Idaho Falls, this is the theater to visit not the dilapidated smaller ones that the "locals" think are great, those other theaters are one of those things that get more hype because most people here have not left this town and been to a real theater.
