Overall Great Movie Experience!
June 01, 2022
Great location just off the 5 & 78! This movie theater is the same as most modern theaters, with great visuals and sound in comfy seats. Not as advanced as Cinepolis in Vista but it has everything you need to enjoy a movie on a big screen. The revamped mall has plenty of new eating options just next door if you want more than the theater food - popcorn, pizza/hot dogs, candy & soda.
Volume Too Loud - Unable to Enjoy the Movie - Hearing Loss Danger

The movie volume was at dangerous levels. My ears are still ringing after 2 days. I went to see the Midway Movie and had to use tissue as earplugs halfway into the movie. Not as a pleasant experience at all. This is a serious Health and Safety issue and should be looked into.
Went downhill quickly after the first year!

Unfortunately, the seats are all peeling, leaving vinyl on your clothes two years after a complete remodel. You can feel the bones of the reclining mechanisms through the seats. Concessions are basic and take forever, even if you're just getting popcorn. This theater was great for the first year and quickly went down hill. For the same ticket price, you can go to Cinepolis in Vista in Vista Village and have a much better experience.

We were told that there "were no seats left but the ones up front". We got up, halfway through the show, and there were LOTS of seats empty! Seems like they were trying to fill up the "tough seats" first at our expense. The manager just "backed up" his workers. O.K...... I'll NEVER go back there again! :(
Someone is in your seat.

Every Friday my family and I try to make it to the movies. Everytime we come to the movies here, people are already in our seats (no matter what time we arrive). Everytime!!!! The process goes - 1st the seat takers ignore us. Then have the audacity to question our seats. Finally they move to other seats to repeat the process. Please fix this. Your workers are very nice and very helpful. Lastly- this is for the trashy Oceanside people and not the theater. Don't bring your 3, 4, and 5 yr old to a rated R, 10:30 movie and not expect a peep to come out of them. Then people argue and a fight ensues, ruining the movie. Get a babysitter.
