Previews

First of all, the movie Where the Crawdads Sing was great and followed the book storyline very well. BUT, prior to the movie, the previews of upcoming attractions gave me and I would think other patrons a headache as well due to the VERY LOUD speakers during these previews. In the future if returning to this theatre or others, I will wear ear plugs or noise reducing Bose headphones during the previews.
I would never go back.

Too loud!!! Rated one star because algorithm forced me to. Mostly empty theatre smelled like dirty hair. Gross. Volume way too loud.
Busted seats, be ready to sit in front row

Half the seats don’t work causing all kinds of issues. Went to see Invisible Man tonight which was close to capacity. We got there early because we’ve experienced this issue here before but only Red had the right showing time for us so we were able to get 2 seats next to isle in theater 15 and only 4 seats worked on the top four rows. Once the lights went down for trailers and people kept coming in, it causes a poor customer experience to have to explain to frustrated and angry movie goers that none of what looks like are available seats actually work. These poor people filled the front 3 rows. Red needs to fix. We only go here now unless it’s the only theater showing a movie we want to see or the time that works. 👎🏿
Very Disappointed in Changes

The prices have gone up since the installation of the "luxury" padded recliner seats, so this is now the most expensive theatre in town at $12.50 for an adult. There are no senior discounts at matinees. The concessions are even more over-priced than elsewhere. The theatre I watched my film in was tiny and dirty, and one entire block of seats was taped off and apparently not in good shape. The projection and sound quality were poor, and we could hear, quite loudly, the films being shown on either side of us in addition to the one we were trying to watch. It was a film I really wanted to see, and I liked the film, but the experience at Red Cinemas was not good. The staff were friendly and doing their best.
Deceptive

When going to the Red you have to be careful about seeing anything other than a blockbuster film or you might be sent to the shoeboxed sized theatres in the back. These theatres are so small they could be a home theatre at someones house or apartment complex. The one positive thing about all of this is that the theatre will refund your money if you explain you didn't come to the theatre with the intention of paying over eight bucks for a ticket to be put into one of these mini rooms with uncomfortable seats. Sadly, the best films that are shown at the Red are the very ones most likely to be screened in these rooms.
Awesome every theatre should be like red
