Age Discrimination

I tried to go and enjoy a movie with my young son last night and experienced a nasty ordeal. I went to Malbus to the movies. As I walked in, there were 4 lines. Since I am disabled, I choose the shortest line. When it came my turn to buy tickets and concessions I was very rudely treated. The young boy sold me my tickets but refused to sell me any popcorn as the line next to me was longer than my line. When I asked to speak to the manager he stated that he was the person in charge (he lied about being the manager as I did speak to a manager named Jacob when I was leaving after the movie). I had the choice of going on and seeing the movie or leaving without a refund of my two tickets I had already purchased. While the manager i dealt with was professional (he didn’t laugh in my face like the first guy did) he did not apologize for the other person’s actions. I’m 59 and disabled. This was definitely discrimination. If I were you, I’d go the movies in Daphne and not Spanish Fort otherwise you too will have to deal with discrimination, rudeness, and a very poor led staff.

Horrible

The AC was out in our theater, the sound skipped through out the movie, the staff were running in circles but not going anywhere... uncontrolled chaos!!!!! Complete waste of money and time ......

The pre-movie entertainment needs to be re-bid to a better vendor.

We sat through the pre-movie entertainment...sound on, video did not work. The comment from staff is that is not their movie...it is a third party vendor and it often does not work. Well, if it often does not work...my thought might be to get ANOTHER third party vendor or have the third party vendor come to adjust whatever settings are needed to make it work. If it happens often it needs to be fixed. Very annoying. Not that I love that portion of the experience, but at least turn off the audio during the non-working video times.
