These two people are jokes, and this is the best theatre I’ve been to in a LONG time!

April 24, 2018

Out of the 2 gripe filled reviews published here by what sounds like an entitled teenager & non-detail oriented gentleman, I’m assuming they’ve never had to deal with a majority of other theatres in the area... this place is clean, hospitable, has an in-house restaurant without being overbearing, decent concession & the most important part of a theatre: amazing sound & picture. I feel *blessed* to have a theatre that actually utilizes their whole audio system, let alone a whole system that’s tuned and works! The only true “complaint” I have is that I wish the red “Exit” sign could be moved away from the screen, but you know, fire safety (so I think I’ll manage). It’s more expensive than other theatres, but I will gladly pay the price in order to keep up with the quality of the theatre.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

April 07, 2018

I have NEVER had such a horrible experience at a movie theater. I brought organic strawberries that I hand dipped in single origin fair trade began Madagascar chocolate and was attacked on my way into the movie and the staff caused a huge scene. I explained that my medical needs would not allow me to eat a single thing on the menu and was aggressively offered the menu for gluten free options that I still cannot eat over 5 times, was made to walk my stuff out to the car or leave it in the managers office to get warm and ruined while all of my little sisters went in to the movie...and then after walking to my car when they already took my ticket they would not let me in for over 10 minutes! By the time a manager walked me to my seat where my sisters had the other half of all of our ticket stubs they had already made me miss the beginning of the movie. When I requested a refund so that I could go see the movie somewhere that would be willing to accommodate my medical needs when I was too hungry to sit through a whole movie with no food, I was again offered the gluten free menu and was harassed for another 5 minutes before getting a refund...I already missed the movie and still won’t eat not organic food! I cannot eat most foods due to a brain injury! It wasted my entire Friday night and I was unable to enjoy a movie with my sisters. Awful! Too bad I can’t leave zero stars!

Senior citisens, Lowell is the better deal...

January 03, 2018

We finally tried out Littleton's O'Neal Cinema after a very long anticipatory wait....Maybe that made the experience worse. My Husband and I waited until Wednesday. Wednesday is "Senior Citizen's Day".... $7 per person. At the Lowell Showcase Cinema it is $7 for any movie, also...It can be 3D or not...all seats are reclining.... Our daughter had given us a $28 gift certificate meant to be for 2 shows. After paying for today's show we owed change... It seems the movie time we picked was on "the big screen". That means the cost is $10 not $7. What!!! So, $4 for the little bag of popcorn and the small soda made our two times at the theater over in one. Sad to say we probably will not be back and will tell our Senior friends where the better deal is. By the way, we could not tell that this screen was any larger than Lowell's. Both have nice reclining seats....The popcorn bag probably was a little bigger than Lowell's but the price is 50 cents less. When I read the times for the movie, I did not notice anything to warn about screen sizes with cost differences.. I would have planned accordingly. This might not be for the "normal" priced seats..I didn't ask.
