Horrible Experience

I’m not sure about the hiring process, but they chose the worst employees to work in a family friendly environment. I’m never going back to this location.

Terrible Customer Service

I recently visited Malco Gonzales Cinema and unfortunately, my experience was terrible. The theater had some issues that made my experience unpleasant. Firstly, I found the staff was unfriendly and unapproachable. They didn't seem happy to be there and weren't very helpful. Upon entering my children were bombarded at the door by personnel. This lady was trying to id them while barely glancing at most of the other people’s id (hate to make this about race), but if you are a person of color this is truly not the place for you after 7pm. All black children are not at the movie theater to create problems. The children that were treated so poorly were actually straight A and honor roll students and this was their reward. Once I came in to speak to the manager, she was determined to create a unwelcoming experience and ruin their night, I asked for a refund on the two children who were under age, the other 4 children would stay. I told her I ordered online, she replied with she needed to see the card which I made to purchase. Showed the card received a refund for all 6 instead of the 2 I stated. Which because I didn’t have physical card and the seats were now unavailable, my children were unable to see their movie. This theater is needs to hire or retrain pleasant employees. The current ones made me feel somewhat unwelcome and made for an uncomfortable experience. We were profiled and you can truly tell the difference of whom they thought would create a disruption in the theater. I use this theater often, but I will continue to do the private movie theater experience at AMC. This place is made it very clear to me they did not want my business. I am a teacher and mortgage lender, I will tell all of my students and fellow coworkers to stay away.
