Super Cute Theater
June 11, 2020
The Crest is such a cozy little theater that makes going to the movies such an intimate experience. You definitely get what you pay for, but it's always fun going to the crest because there's less "frill". No obnoxious music or arcade games or flashing lights. It's very old school and I like that the building is old. The upstairs bathroom takes you on a trip back in time and it's refreshing. They have started updating theaters little by little and they have nice new seating. They do get you with the over priced concessions though, to make up for the cheap tickets. Overall I really enjoy going to the crest.
Always friendly service - inexpensive and pleasant

Remember your ID and have it ready - no matter how old, all customers are carded when buying wine and beer :-) Staff is often presenting the theater and the film. The local ads are sometimes funny
Super service, good concessions. Friendly staff, We always get the extra popcorn to take home.

I appreciate the new seats. There is a row that is just too close behind the row before. OK for kids but not my legs. Feels like those horrid airplane seats too closely set. Everything else, sound is fine..I've been enJoying movies at the Crest for 47 years! My daughter saw her 1st movie at the Crest; we celebrated her first day of kindergarten at the crest that day. THAT became the tradition for first day of school for each kid ! Viva the Crest!
Affordable and great concessions

The sound is good, theaters clean, staff helpful. The seats are way too low and small for the tall or elderly. Great movies play for that second chance to see them if missed. They always make decaf coffee for me! Great with ice cream bonbons. Please don’t close.
Been going here for years!

Long ago they had terrible seats that were hard an squeaky. But now they have great, new, comfortable seats in the smaller theaters. The only problem is that the legroom is a bit like flying economy for 2 hours. Other than that it’s a great place to see a movie. (And for only $4!!!)
Great classic cheapseats theater! One of my faves!

Always a pleasure.
Love this place!! Support your local theatre!!

Crest has done some really great renovations, cleaning up the place, and keeping the "old school" announcements at the beginning of movies with a real human being! They even have a liquor license now!! It's just a shame that this rating system allowed people who had one bad *Customer Service* experience to put a single star across every category like Cleanliness and Theatre Presentation, because that drags down the Crest's full rating. They are right to complain, but once those particular employees were dealt with, I wonder if they would return to change their rating? This local theatre is a GEM to the community and needs to be supported. Don't just Netflix and chill, spend your time and a few dollars to watch on the BIG screen at the Crest, while we still have it!
Best popcorn in town and friendliest staff!

Employee's making fun of a homeless man.
May 12, 2017
All seemed fine when I bought my ticket and food, but the real problem is how the CHILDREN who work there act when they don't think anyone can hear them. When walking to the bathroom in the middle of watching Hidden Figures (fantastic movie by the way), I heard them in the lobby making fun a homeless man who had come in to watch the same movie as me. My guess is he came in to get out of the hot sun and enjoy himself for a couple hours, but the two twenty-something year old boys working in the lobby thought it was there place to criticize the way he sends his money. Saying things like, "Why are you coming to see a movie if you can't even afford food?" and "Make sure to take note of which seat he's sitting in, so we can burn it after the movie." They stopped when a younger female employee enter the room with them so we know it's not the whole staff that acts this way, but is this really how you run your business? It is outrageous and I will be reporting them immediately, but I just wanted to warn anyone who was thinking about going to see a movie there.
