Horrible customer service

Despite several mechanical/electronic issues delaying show considerably (in excess of 20 minutes), they refused to refund ticket. Staff would not get a manager upon request.
Perfect theater

Anyone not thinking this is a great place is just whining and should not be taken seriously. Best theater I’ve ever been in on 3 continents. It’s clean, staff is polite, seats are AMAZING, and they serve beer on tap. Prices are reasonable and they give a pretty good military discount.

This place is family friendly, LOVE the kids packs for my 4 little ones. Plenty of parking, super comfy recliner seating and truly not a bad seat in the house. I choose this theater above all others in town and I live closer to the downtown one.
Not recommended for Handicapped people

I had been wanting to try this theater since my grandson had told me about the recliners. But, when I walked in to the theater, I was surprised to notice there are no seats in the lobby and no seats in the long halls. We had to stand to wait for the theater to be cleaned. If I hadn't already paid I would have just left. The recliners were very comfortable, but, I am surprised that they don't have even one bench to sit on while waiting in line.
In Violation of Americans with Disabilities Act
July 29, 2019
On Saturday morning 7 of us, 3 adults and 4 children, attending a showing of the Lion King at Icon Cinema in Colorado Springs. After getting the kids settled I went back to the lobby and approached 3 men gathered in a corner who appeared to be management in order to request a closed caption device. Upon the request, I was asked for a copy of my ID for management to "hold onto". I informed them that I did not have my ID with me and was told that no device could be provided without ID. I have worn hearing aids 30 of my 37 years and never, in this country, have I been requested to provide a piece of collateral in order to utilize a tool for accessibility. I explained as much to the gentlemen and was told that this wasn't an accessibility issue, rather it was an issue of expensive equipment. I then responded that in fact, this was discrimination. At this point, a man in the group explained that he would provide the device, "Just this once" and that next time I was to "not be so rude." He then turned and went to retrieve the device. When he came back, I explained that it is not rude to request an assistive device for a disability and asked for contact information for his supervisor. This was refused as he told me he was the "General Manager". I then told him I would like the contact information for Icon's Corporate Office. This was refused and I was told the theatre is "family-owned". I then requested the contact information for the owner. The GM left and came back with a card, pointed to the website and told me there was a contact form on that. I will point out that on January 17, 2017 a final rule by the Department of Justice went into effect regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) wherein it is required, by the Federal Government, to provide closed caption devices at movie theatres and that failure to do so is in fact discrimination and violation of this act. Nowhere in this act is
