Lousy sound for a concert movie
June 23, 2023
Grateful Dead meet up 2023 was held here last night. The volume was much too low for a concert film - the theater walls were lined with 6 unused speakers! And at times - at least 10 - the sound almost completely cut out and it sounded like a transistor radio. Quite disappointing.
Movies here!

This theatre was remodeled and has great movies yet still has seats that are tight and small. It has great drink selection and handy mini tables. Offering pizza and hotdogs and wider seats would greatly improve the movie experience here however.
An exceptional movie theater anywhere, but even more special in a small, coastal town!

Great variety of treats and drinks, comfortable seats, small tables for concessions, and a unique display of classic photographs of Marilyn Monroe. Always a special experience made even better by the staff and the owners--they represent true community-minded business ownership--they also do special screenings for various civic orgs and events. A real treasure for a community of any size!

Overall a very enjoyable experience especially the national theater live. Have always been treated well there.
Small & expensive, but it's the only show in town

Seats are small and uncomfortable. Concessions are very expensive. Guy selling tickets on the verge of being rude. Have to ask them to turn down the speakers almost every time we've been there. Because of these things we normally drive to Pony Village cinemas if we want to see a show. On the positive side: Place is usually clean and they do have a couple of 1st run shows every week.
