Theater Reviews

I agree with the reviewer who talked about an "LA vibe." KInd of a snooty, off-putting atmosphere. I bought my "reserved seat" ticket to find that the seat had already seen sold to someone else, and the theater manager didn't deal with the situation very professionally.

Los Angeles Attitude

Nice theater and concession but there is a rude LA vibe to the place that does not fit laid back San Diego. If you like paying a premium to be treated snootily, then this is your hipster heaven. If you want some place to simply relax and enjoy yourself, there are better choices.

Discriminated against

April 20, 2018

On 4/20/18 I took my wife and child to the movies to kill time and avoid traffic heading home. After purchasing our tickets we proceeded to the theater. I seated my family and then went to get some concessions, after returning my wife informed me that we are being kicked out because the theater received complaints that our son was being loud. I was shocked, knowing my son I truly found it hard to believe, even as my wife was telling me this my son sat there in silence not uttering a word. Mind you the movie had not even started, when the complaints were supposedly made. My wife and I are respectable people, to know that we will leave the theater if our son got loud. I then asked the employee about there policy on noise and distraction, they could not tell me or show me anything that quantify distraction. Why sell movie tickets for infants and children if you are not assuming the risk of some noise? I assure you, THIS WAS DISCRIMINATION TO THE FULLEST OF THE WORD'S DEFINITION . A family walks in with a child and immediately the assumption is that the child will make noise. That is wrong!! The movie had not even started yet. Employees were not trained on how to handle this type of situation. No observation was made by the employee to determine that our child was being loud. They simply took the word of someone who just might not like the fact that a baby creates the potential of making noise, and just like that an INNOCENT CHILD was not able to be in a theater with their family.
