Actively Bad Service
November 21, 2019
Twice now I have tried to order food before the movie. The first time I pre-ordered (FYI: DO NOT DO THIS). Twenty minutes past the start time of my movie, my food still had not come. Out of the entirety of the concessions, only one person was handling the pre-order food and he did not have a care in the world. It was as if he was on a work slowdown. He was spinning around filling containers, "cutting" pizzas as slowly as possible (I use quotes because he didn't actually cut the pizza, just passed the cutter over the top). Finally, giving up on my food, I asked if he could just give me a cup for the drink I ordered. He said yes, but then proceeded to spin back to his work of adding chicken tender by chicken tender, one at a time, to the fryer. I eventually cut the line of people ordering to demand a cup and never got my food. I called customer service for a refund and they told me "no" since there was no way to verify I never received my food. So, I vowed never to pre-order again. I did go back and attempt to get a pizza without pre-ordering. After I ordered, I laughed to myself as I saw the same man slowly spinning around, absolutely neglecting all the pre-order folks as near riots ensued of people not receiving any items. But, 30 minutes later, the joke was on me, because it seemed no one cared about anything. Eventually, I again, marched up to the front demanding a pizza. Someone begrudgingly said fine, and pulled the next one out of the over for me. Seems like they forgot about that oven because the pizza was burnt to a crisp. But, at that point, I wasn't going to wait for them to make another one. I took it and was happy to get into my movie only 10 minutes after it started. In no other situation would I have accepted that food as edible. The theater is nice, but the concessions are a flaming hot piece of trash. DO NOT BUY CONCESSIONS HERE. They theater does not care about its customers.
