Theater Reviews

Has really gone downhill

December 06, 2022

Used to be a great theater - now it is an overpriced mess. Dirty floors covered in popcorn and soda, almost never available paper towels in bathroom and garbage is always overflowing on to the ground. And now they almost never have late night movies anymore. We have started to go elsewhere, sadly.

We ordered tickets online and our seats don’t recline at all...there is popcorn all over the floor and in between the seats. Not pleased.

Used to love this theater

July 21, 2019

We have visited this location many times over the years. We loved the renovation a few years back. Our last two visits? The place is barren. Floors are covered in sticky goo and popcorn. Goo under my feet when I ordered concessions. We didn't want to touch the automated drink or popcorn areas. We saw the Lion King. NO speakers were working in the back of the theater! We all agreed that it was like watching a TV with the volume turned down low. Thus, we were VERY aware of every whisper, movement and bite that our neighbors made. Who to tell about this problem? No one was around. Super disappointed after spending close to $130 for our family of 5 to enjoy. Spend some of your income and keep the place looking presentable. Customer service is not that hard. Bleh.

What Happened Here?

June 17, 2019

Used to be an outstanding theater, now -a pit. Lousy concessions (what can you do to screw THAT up) and surly people, if you can find any. If there is a movie you want to see in a theater, wait a month then go to Hopkins for @2.50. AND, nice people there... Skip this place

Worst website EVER

June 24, 2018

Besides price gouging on tickets and concessions, AMC charges a $3.25 “convenience” fee for one of the most inconvenient websites ever. You would think that at the prices this theater charges, buying a tickets would be simple and straight-forward. Rule #1 for a website is to NEVER sacrifice ease and convenience for glitz.

yikes !!

April 12, 2018

surly concession people. EVERY.SINGLE.Butter station empty. Attitude city when they had to go change them out. Malfunctioning pop machine (got a whole armload of coke sprayed OUT, then nothing. $28.99 for one large popcorn, 2 small drinks and an order of mozzarella sticks !!!!! Glasses for the 3-D looked like they had not been cleaned. Seats are narrower than most theaters I have been to and didn't recline. The only nice thing about my experience was the elderly ticket lady who was very accommodating about trying to help and was the only pleasant person I dealt with. Will not be returning.

I could not believe this was the same theater

December 29, 2017

I went to this theater often when I lived in Eden Prairie. When I went recently for a matinee, did I get a shock!!! I did decide to buy tickets online. For 2 over $20. Well OK I'll go for it this once. Shock One! Went in and bought large tub of popcorn and 2 large sodas. $18. Shock Two!! Area was not busy but young thing at concession area had an attitude a mile high and no effort was made to clean the counter that was covered with assorted spills and popcorn. Much less SMILE or say THANK YOU. Well OK this is still doable I start muttering to myself. On the walk to our theater I noticed the elderly lady taking the tickets. Yes, just one for 15 theaters. Then I noticed the floors, and I am not exaggerating here, there was popcorn covering the carpet. Perhaps it was a Light coating of popcorn but it was the full length of the hall not just at a few spots. I am feeling faint by this time, but I came for this family movie!!!!!!!!!!! Who needs clean. OH YES I did see 2 young people holding brooms and dustpans some where along the way but I wanted to get to the fully modern and high-tech seats--------that cost $$$$$$$$$$$. Where oh where has my old time theater gone-where oh where has it gone???????????
