Not a Safe Place to Come To

AMC 22, South Blvd, is NOT A SAFE PLACE to come too…!! This HAD Been our movie spot for a while, But NEVER AGAIN, I SAW MY LAST MOVIE TONIGHT...!! There are some good young kids working there, but it is Painfully Obviousis this NOT A SAFE PLACE to come too…!! My Wife’s Kia Sportage was stolen tonight, and AMC has NO CAMERAS or NO WORKING CAMERAS, to Cover the Parking Lot with Guest Safety In Mind. There is Inadequate Lighting with lots of Dark Areas, Over Grown Trees to aide in Hiding Spots and Shadows, and especially soo for sitting soo far back in the cut. I also learned tonight; while waiting on the Police, this is a Prime Spot for Car Thefts with 3-Stolen in June Alone. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AMC 22 Until Upgrades can be made to ensure safety of the AMC Patrons…!!

Dangerous to be inside

Needs an upgrade and a real good cleaning!!

We enjoyed the movie! Sounds was good, overall condition in need of cleaning and upgrading. Otherwise the staff was fairly friendly and concessions good!

No A/C in theatre 3, dirty

Notified staff 3 times about no A/C; seats and floor were dirty. We will go back to Redstone in Indian Land next time.

dreadful experience every time

This theater makes going to the movies a bad experience. I have attempted to purchase tickets online twice now and both times my purchase didn't go through. The first time, after standing in line for 20 minutes to buy tickets on a Saturday afternoon because there was ONE window open to the public, I was told to go to customer service to make sure my purchase didn't go through online. There I waited another 10 minutes (no exaggeration) only to be told my purchase did not go through. The second time I tried to purchase online, I knew better and just went there to get tickets, again standing in line for 20 minutes, this time with my 6 yr old granddaughter, because they were understaffed and had one window open. We stood in line even longer to get popcorn because the counter was also understaffed, a recurring theme with this place. I'd like to mention that the popcorn and soda cost $16!!! The drink machine was out of our first 5 choices of drinks and what we did get tasted so horrible, we threw it out. It tasted like the machines hadn't been cleaned in forever, probably because they were understaffed. And because this whole process took so long, we missed the beginning of the movie. The seats were sticky and cruddy feeling probably because the cleaners are understaffed. On the way out we stopped at the ladies room and it was beyond disgusting. Not only had they not been cleaned for hours, but they had not been cleaned for days, probably because they were understaffed. They entire place was covered with grime, not just the toilets. The management here sucks, and the corporation obviously does not care about customer satisfaction, or they would hire more people to make this a better experience. But the almighty dollar is what matters to this corporation. Profits for the shareholders are top priority and their patrons can just go jump in the lake. I will not be returning here for any movie, ever again.

Terrible service

January 31, 2018

Manager is rude. Staff is slow. And on the last visit they wouldn’t let me see a movie without my ID even though I’m 30 years old with a full beard. Too many visits have left me feeling frustrated. It’s a movie theater customer service shouldn’t even be a consideration. So the service is so bad that I notice it.
